Exercises recommended for weight loss while having cervical issue

I am having cervical pain due to prolonged sitting job. Last year i joined yoga and they ask me to be careful about few exercises. So, can anybody help me in such exercises which i can do to reduce weight as well as doesnt affect my cervical issue.
