How to promote eating without watching tv or mobile?
My kid has a habit of eating his meal only when I show him any Youtube videos. I didn't want to encourage this but somehow he got habituated. But now I want to reduce the screen time. Any mommies facing the same situation? How to promote eating without watching tv or mobile?

Hello dear...

Don't stress out... I know it is a bad habit but since the child already is used to it it will take little time... Initially my son also did the same thing but with some effort I have finally helped him to have meals with out any gadget. I started to offer meals only when he was hungry, tried to make sure that we have meals together, initially I gave mobile then slowly I started to off the internet or cable and showed him there is no connection. Got colourful plates and spoons with cartoons, made food attractive... Try to include the child in family meals.. This works well... Last of all you need to keep a lot of patience as it takes some time to see the results... Happy parenting 😊

Hello dear,

Congratulations on your pregnancy. Yes during the first trimester some face problems with the smell of oil and spices, I also had faced the same problem. I used to put handkerchief on the nose while cooking, though it is troublesome but atleast helped from feeling uneasy. Also when my husband was at home I used to ask him to cook, I used to keep all the vegetables chopped, spices ready and he just cooked the food. Make sure the windows and all are open so that once the cooking is done the smell does not stay... Hope this helps..all the best.

How these doctors are taking care of themselves in this coronavirus situation?
How these doctors are taking care of themselves in this coronavirus situation? I have heard that many doctors catch the virus. If they can't keep themselves safe even with utmost precautions how we will be able to keep ourselves safe. Share some insight, please.

Hello dear,

I understand it is very difficult keep peace with ourselves in this pandemic situation... Doctors who are getting affected are directly exposed to the people affected with the virus... However taking few precautionary measures can help ourselves like stay at home and do not move out unless necessary , if you go out make sure you change your dress and wash them and wash your hands and exposed parts properly, eat a healthy diet with plenty of vegetables to increase your immunity... Take care

What actions can I take against my husband for physical abuse?
I am SAHM, blessed with twins and they are 8 months old now. I take care of my family members very well. We are a big joint family and all stay together in a big house. My inlaws, brothers-in-law, co sisters are so nice that I don't have any complaint on them. But my husband recently started torturing and forcing me to do a job. I told him that yes will start my career once I join the children into the school. He almost drunks daily and he needs extra money for his drink. He is scolding, using abusive words, making fun that I am not earning money in fact, he recently started beating me. I don't want to stay in that home. Can you please provide me suggestions on how can I file a case against him?

Hi dear,

I am really sorry that you need to go through this... However it is very important that you inform your parents first about it and then search a good lawyer. The lawyer will help you with all the legality. Also try to move out from the house with your kids as staying there is not safe for you... Take care and more power to you.

Hi dear,

While working out, it is very important to maintain proper posture or else there are chances of hurting yourself.... Yes, you need to be not only careful but also get your posture right to get the maximum benefit...while doing squats never put pressure on your knees... To get the form right use a chair.... Lower your body without bending the knees, as you do while sitting on the chair, do not bend... Practice this with a chair and also check the you tube videos to get a better hold... Once you understand it, then you can practice it without the chair.

Take care

Hello dear, placenta is the one which feeds the baby in the womb.. If the placenta covers the mouth of the cervix then it is known as placenta previa.... My sister also had similar situation, the only way is complete bed rest. There are chances of the placenta to move up as you advance in the pregnancy... So don't worry dear.. Take care

Hey.... I understand how worried you might be... But every baby is different and hence each take their own time, so don't worry about it.. Babies can start walking anytime within 18months... As for the walker please avoid. It is right that it is not good as it delays other milestones. Don't worry dear mommy it is normal, give the baby lots of floor space ,the baby will soon start walking..

All the best
