Haan beti, hamare bade-boodhe aksar kehte hain ki 9th month mein ghee khane se normal delivery mein madad milti hai. Iske peeche yeh soch hai ki ghee shareer ko lubricate karta hai aur delivery process ko smooth bana sakta hai. Ghee ek healthy fat hai jo energy deta hai aur constipation ko bhi door rakhta hai, jo pregnancy mein common hai. Lekin sirf ghee khane se hi normal delivery guarantee nahi hoti. Yeh ek purana belief zaroor hai, par iske scientific proof limited hain. Normal delivery ke liye aapka overall health, regular exercise, sahi diet aur positive mindset bahut zaroori... See more

Food while loose motion for 1 year old kid
If 1 yr baby is suffering from loose motion what can we give in diet other than khichdi? Pls suggest something

When your little one has loose motions, keeping them hydrated and offering easily digestible foods is key. Besides khichdi, you can give them soft, binding foods like dahi-chawal (curd rice), which has probiotics to help settle the stomach. Mashed ripe banana is excellent, full of potassium and helps bind stools. You can also offer sabudana (tapioca pearls) porridge or kheer made with water or very dilute milk. Boiled and mashed potato is another good option for energy without irritating the digestive system. Remember to give ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) frequently in small sips to prevent dehydration. Avoid sugary drinks, fruit... See more

It's completely understandable to feel hesitant before investing in a new skincare brand like McCaffeine, especially when it feels a bit pricey. Before you commit, I would suggest taking a closer look at the user reviews directly on Amazon. Many Indian users share their experiences, which can give you a good idea of how the products might work for different skin types and concerns. Pay attention to reviews mentioning specific products you are interested in, like their coffee scrubs or serums, and check if the ingredients align with what you usually prefer for your skin. Also, if McCaffeine offers smaller... See more

Hey all how you deal with pubic hairs? If i dont shave i develop boils and skin irritation
Hey all how you deal with pubic hairs? If i dont shave i develop boils and skin irritation. What you guys do? Do you shave or wax? People says hairs are good to have. Whats your opinion?

Beta, it's quite common to experience skin irritation and boils in sensitive areas, and your comfort and hygiene are most important. While pubic hair does offer some natural protection, if it causes you discomfort, managing it is perfectly fine. If shaving leads to irritation, ensure you are using a new, sharp razor, a good shaving gel, and shaving in the direction of hair growth to reduce ingrown hairs and bumps. Many women find that waxing is a better alternative as it removes hair from the root, often resulting in smoother skin for a longer period and potentially fewer ingrown hairs... See more

Dear Maa, For your child to truly thrive and innovate in India's dynamic future, focus on more than just marks. Encourage critical thinking, not just memorization, by asking "why" and "how." Help them develop problem-solving skills by letting them tackle small challenges at home. Foster creativity through arts, crafts, or even storytelling. Digital literacy is non-negotiable, so introduce them to technology responsibly and safely. Beyond academics, emphasize crucial 'soft skills' like strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability. The future rewards those who can learn new things quickly and collaborate effectively. Cultivate curiosity and a love for lifelong learning by exploring new... See more

Namaste! Pitching while visibly pregnant is a powerful statement of your dedication and vision. Instead of avoiding the topic, proactively address any unspoken concerns by demonstrating your meticulous planning and robust support system. Clearly articulate your comprehensive business strategy, highlighting a strong, capable team that can ensure continuity and growth, proving the venture isn't solely dependent on your individual day-to-day presence. I want to open my textile business. What all things i should know about and how much investment needed for this business. I want to know about the running cost, area required etc. complete details?

It's wonderful you're considering a textile business! To begin, think about your niche: will it be traditional wear like sarees, contemporary apparel, or home furnishings? Start by researching local demand and potential suppliers. You could even begin by sourcing unique pieces and selling them from home or through online platforms like WhatsApp groups and local exhibitions to test the market without a huge upfront investment. For investment, it varies greatly. A home-based sourcing and reselling model might need INR 50,000 to 2-3 lakhs for initial inventory and marketing. If you plan a physical store or manufacturing, the costs will be... See more

How do I politely navigate all the traditional pregnancy advice from my family when it conflicts with my doctor's?
How do I politely navigate all the traditional pregnancy advice from my family when it conflicts with my doctor's?

Answered 4 weeks ago
Handling traditional pregnancy advice from elders in an Indian household can be tricky, but remember it usually comes from a place of deep love! The best approach is to smile, listen politely, and use your doctor as your shield. Instead of arguing about old myths or nuskhas, simply say, "That sounds interesting, Mummy/Aunty, let me just double-check with my gynecologist at my next visit to be safe." This respects their intentions while keeping your medical choices firm, placing the final authority on your doctor. You can also adopt a "pick your battles" strategy. Accept harmless traditional practices—like drinking warm turmeric... See more

How can I truly build a flourishing business as an Indian mother without the constant guilt of not being 'enough' for my child?

Dear Ma'am, It's completely normal to feel that pull between your ambitions and your love for your child. The key isn't to eliminate all guilt, but to reframe it. You are not "not enough"; you are showing your child the power of passion, independence, and hard work. By pursuing your business, you're modeling ambition and resilience, teaching them valuable lessons about purpose and making a difference. Focus on quality connection over constant presence. Create cherished, dedicated moments together, even if they are short. Practically, this means setting clear boundaries: define your "work hours" and "family hours" and stick to them.... See more
