Which face mask brand is good to use and safe ?
Which face mask brand is good to use and safe ? I have seen many people are ordering printed and cotton masks, i don't find it good to use. So, whats your opinion on this? Which brand you are using and are they disposable or reusable?

Beti, it's very sensible to be concerned about the effectiveness of printed cotton masks; often, they don't offer adequate protection. For good safety, always prioritize masks that provide proper filtration. Surgical masks are a practical disposable option for daily use, especially those with three layers. For better protection, particularly in crowded places, I recommend opting for FFP2 or N95 equivalent masks, which are designed to filter airborne particles more effectively. While I don't endorse specific brands, many trusted Indian medical supply companies offer certified FFP2 masks. When buying, always look for proper certifications like CE or ISI mark, ensuring they... See more

Why people say that ladies can't keep secrets
Why people say that ladies can't keep secrets. I wonder because I am a lady and I can keep secrets well. Why people discriminate with women in India?

This age-old stereotype stems largely from patriarchal mindsets that historically dismissed women's social bonding as mere "gossip." In traditional Indian households, women relied on close-knit communities, sharing their daily lives and emotions as a way to build mutual support systems. Unfortunately, society often mistook this natural emotional openness for an inability to keep confidential information. It is an unfair double standard where a man sharing news is seen as networking, while a woman doing the same is labeled a gossip. The truth is that trustworthiness is a personal value, not a gender trait. Millions of women, just like you, maintain... See more

Aapka 8th month chal raha hai, acidity normal hai par bahut uncomfortable ho sakti hai. Raat mein jalan kam karne ke liye kuch baatein dhyaan rakhein. Ek saath zyada khane ki bajaye, din bhar mein thoda-thoda karke 5-6 baar khayein. Khana khaane ke turant baad letne se bachein, kam se kam 2-3 ghante ka gap rakhein. Raat mein sote samay apne sar ko thoda ooncha rakhein, ek extra pillow use kar sakti hain. Tali hui, mirch-masale wali cheezein aur zyada teekha khana avoid karein. Khane ke baad thodi saunf chabana ya ek chota glass thanda doodh ya chaach peena bhi... See more

Bacche aur ghar ki zimmedariyon ke beech, kya apna passion pursue karna practical hai, ya yeh sirf ek 'mompreneur' ka myth hai?

Bacche aur ghar ki zimmedariyon ke beech apna passion pursue karna bilkul practical hai, par yeh koi 'myth' nahi, balki ek well-planned journey hai. Shuru mein chote kadam uthana zaroori hai. Apne dinचर्या mein kuch ghante nikalein, bhale hi woh subah jaldi ya raat ko sab ke sone ke baad ho. Flexibility aur patience... See more

Beta, don't worry too much, but definitely take this seriously and keep talking to your doctor. They might suggest specific supplements or further checks. For now, focus on a very nutritious diet. Include plenty of protein like dal, paneer, eggs (if you eat them), and sprouts, which are building blocks for your baby. Add healthy fats like a spoon of ghee with your meals, and snack on nuts and seeds like almonds and walnuts. Try to eat small, frequent meals throughout the day instead of just three big ones. Drink plenty of milk, fresh fruit juices, and water. Rest is... See more

Your pediatrician is 100% right, beta. A 9-month-old baby’s delicate digestive system and kidneys are not yet ready to process plain cow milk. Giving it before 12 months can lead to tummy issues, allergies, and even internal blood loss causing severe iron deficiency (anemia). Plain liquid cow milk should strictly be avoided as a primary drink until the baby turns one year old. Since breast milk is insufficient, the safest and healthiest choice right now is age-appropriate infant formula (Stage 2), which provides balanced nutrition. Additionally, she can boost the baby's diet with healthy solid foods to keep him full... See more

Is taking a tablespoon of desi ghee daily in the ninth month actually helpful for a normal delivery, or is it just a myth?
Is taking a tablespoon of desi ghee daily in the ninth month actually helpful for a normal delivery, or is it just a myth?

Beta, it's a very common traditional practice in many Indian households to consume a tablespoon of desi ghee daily in the ninth month, and there's some wisdom behind it, though it's not a magic bullet for a normal delivery. Ghee is rich in healthy fats and is believed to help lubricate the birth canal and provide energy, which can be beneficial during labour. It also aids in digestion and nutrient absorption, which is important during this crucial phase. However, it's crucial to remember that a 'normal delivery' depends on many factors like your baby's position, your overall health, and your... See more

When is the best time to breastfeed and how many times formula milk should be given?
Hello mommies, how many times breastfeeding And how many times formula milk should be given to new born baby. Any idea please help?
My Answer | Total 1 vote
Answered 4 weeks ago
For a newborn, breastfeeding should ideally be on demand, meaning whenever your baby shows hunger cues, which typically translates to 8-12 times in a 24-hour period, or roughly every 2-3 hours. It's important to feed your baby whenever they seem hungry, as this helps establish your milk supply and ensures they get all the necessary nutrients. Look for early signs like rooting, lip smacking, or bringing hands to mouth, rather than waiting for them to cry. Regarding formula milk, it is generally recommended to exclusively breastfeed for the first six months if possible. If you are considering giving formula due... See more
