Hello dear, yes this is one of the best idea to boycott the Chinese products. Dear If possible start making hand made rakhis is very very easy. Bcz now a days people are not buying from resellers especially the one which they buy less quantity. Hence I would suggest you to buy the stuff or the materials all required to make Rakhi and forward it to all your WhatsApp, fb groups maximum. Trust me all your stuff will sell and you will earn good money.

For beautiful handmade rakhis that truly reflect Indian craftsmanship and help you avoid mass-produced items, consider exploring local craft fairs, exhibitions, and independent boutiques. Many women's self-help groups (SHGs) and NGOs across India empower artisans to create exquisite handmade rakhis, often using eco-friendly materials and traditional techniques. Online platforms like Etsy India, or dedicated Indian craft websites, are also excellent resources to discover unique pieces directly from talented creators, ensuring you support local livelihoods and get authentic, high-quality products.

Starting a reselling business with handmade rakhis is a fantastic idea! Begin by sourcing directly from these local artisans, SHGs, or smaller workshops to ensure authenticity and better margins. Leverage social media platforms like WhatsApp groups, Instagram, and Facebook to showcase your unique collection to friends, family, and local communities. Highlight the story behind each rakhi and the artisan who made it. You could also explore setting up pop-up stalls at community events or collaborating with local gift shops to expand your reach, gradually diversifying into other handmade Indian crafts.
