Beti, learning to drive is a big step, and it's understandable to worry about the cost. While driving schools offer structured lessons and cars with dual controls for safety, which is great for beginners, it's not the only way. Many learn from a patient family member or a trusted friend who has their own car. However, since you don't have a car yet, a driving school or a private instructor who provides a car would be practical. For Noida Sector 62, you can ask neighbours or local shopkeepers for recommendations – word-of-mouth is often the best way to find reliable... See more

Beta, it sounds like your skin is reacting to the ring, which can happen with certain metals or if moisture gets trapped. It’s important to keep that ring off your finger until the irritation and black marks subside completely. Gently clean the area with mild soap and water, and keep it dry. For the itching and irritation, applying a little pure aloe vera gel or a thin layer of coconut oil can be very soothing. To help lighten the dark mark, you could try a tiny bit of diluted lemon juice (mix with water, apply gently, and wash off after... See more

Pregnancy me hemoglobin badhane ke liye daily diet me iron-rich sabziyan aur fruits zaroor shamil karein. Green leafy vegetables jaise palak, methi, aur sarson ke sath-sath beetroot (chukandar), gajar, aur sweet potato blood count badhane me bahut madad karte hain. Fruits me anar (pomegranate), seb (apple), kishmish, aur khajur (dates) rozana khayein. Iron ko body me ache se absorb karne ke liye nimbu paani, amla, ya orange zaroor lein, kyunki Vitamin C iron absorption ke liye bohot zaroori hai. Khane ke sath chai ya coffee peene se bachein kyunki ye iron absorption ko rokte hain. Subah bhige hue anjeer aur... See more

What legal options do I have in India if my employer fires me or forces me to resign after I disclose my pregnancy?
What legal options do I have in India if my employer fires me or forces me to resign after I disclose my pregnancy?

Under Section 12 of the Maternity Benefit Act, 1961, it is completely illegal for an employer to terminate your employment or force you to resign due to pregnancy. First and foremost, do not sign any resignation letter under pressure, as doing so waives your legal protections. Make sure to collect and save all evidence, including your pregnancy disclosure emails, medical submissions, and written communications regarding your performance or termination. If your employer refuses to back down, send a formal written complaint to HR citing the law. If they still do not resolve the issue, you can approach the local Labor... See more

My kid has dry and frizzy hairs. Any tips?

Dry and frizzy hair in kids is quite common, beta. A wonderful remedy is to regularly oil their hair. Warm coconut or almond oil massaged into the scalp and hair a couple of times a week, left on for at least an hour or overnight before shampooing, can deeply nourish the strands and reduce frizz. This traditional method works wonders. When washing, opt for a mild, sulfate-free shampoo and a good conditioner formulated for dry hair. Always rinse with lukewarm water. After washing, gently pat their hair dry with a soft towel instead of vigorous rubbing, which can increase frizz.... See more

Pre-natal hair fall, especially in bunches, can be quite alarming, beta, but it's often a common hormonal change during pregnancy. Your body is undergoing so many shifts! Focus on nourishing yourself from within. Ensure your diet is rich in iron, protein, and vitamins – think leafy greens, dals, eggs, and plenty of fruits. Gentle hair care is key right now; avoid harsh chemicals, tight hairstyles, and excessive heat styling. Use a wide-toothed comb and mild, natural shampoos. While some shedding is normal, if it's truly severe and causing you distress, it's always best to mention it to your gynaecologist during... See more

The keto diet works by drastically reducing your carbohydrate intake and replacing it with healthy fats, forcing your body into a metabolic state called ketosis. In ketosis, your body efficiently burns stored fat for energy instead of glucose, leading to quick weight loss. For an Indian kitchen, this means skipping rice, roti, and lentils, and focusing on paneer, eggs, ghee, leafy greens, nuts, and seeds. While keto is effective for short-term results, it can be challenging to maintain long-term with our traditional food habits. It is generally safe for healthy adults, but it can cause temporary tiredness or digestion issues,... See more

Beta, it's wonderful that your family cares so much, and their concern comes from a place of love, wanting to protect you and the baby. However, modern medical advice emphasizes the benefits of gentle physical activity during pregnancy, provided there are no complications. The best approach is to involve your doctor. Ask your gynaecologist to explain to your family, perhaps during a joint visit, why moderate exercise like walking or prenatal yoga is actually beneficial for an easier delivery, better circulation, and managing discomfort, rather than harmful. Once your doctor reassures them, you can start with very gentle activities. Suggest... See more

Is it safe to take coffee in pregnancy

Answered a month ago
Pregnancy ke pehle 3 mahino me thoda zyada parhez rakhna zaroori hota hai. Aapki devrani coffee pee sakti hain, lekin limit me rehna bohot zaroori hai. Doctors ke mutabiq, pregnant women ko din me 200mg se kam caffeine lena chahiye, jiska matlab hai din me sirf 1 chota cup mild coffee safe hai. Zyada coffee peene se acidity, heartburn, aur baby ke growth par asar pad sakta hai. Agar unhe shaam ko craving ho, toh wo decaf coffee, mild cold coffee, ya phir kesar-elaichi doodh aur coconut water try kar sakti hain. Unhe khali pet coffee bilkul mat lene dein.... See more

Yes, beta, eating fruits in the evening during pregnancy is completely safe and healthy, especially when you are struggling to eat a full meal. However, it is important to choose the right fruits to prevent acidity, bloating, or nighttime heartburn. Stick to light, easy-to-digest options like apples, pears, bananas, or pomegranates. Try to avoid citrus fruits like oranges and sweet limes in the late evening, as well as high-water fruits like watermelon which can cause frequent urination at night. To ensure you and the baby get enough nourishment, try pairing your fruit with a handful of soaked almonds or walnuts,... See more
