Need advice on beauty product

Body Shop is my all-time favorite brand most of the products I use from it. But for a few months, I am getting frequent pimple breakouts on my skin. Its generally on my chin and forehead area. Does by any chance the product is not suiting to me?

Hey dear, sometimes change in lifestyle can be a reason, few days back I also suddenly started getting pimples and it was mainly a lack of routine and timely meals. Once I started to get back to my routine it got better, so I would request try to have a healthy lifestyle, and if it still does not get better then it could be the product... Take care

Beta, it's very possible that your skin's needs have changed, even if The Body Shop was your favourite for years. Our skin is quite dynamic; factors like hormonal changes (stress, diet, menstrual cycle, or even approaching menopause) can significantly alter how it reacts to products. What suited you before might now be too rich, too drying, or simply no longer compatible, especially if the product formulations have subtly changed too.

I would suggest taking a short break from the products you suspect. Try simplifying your routine with gentle, natural cleansers for a while, perhaps a bit of multani mitti or a light neem-based pack, or a touch of haldi mixed with curd. Observe if the breakouts reduce. If they persist even after a break and trying gentler alternatives, or if they worsen, it would be wise to consult a dermatologist. They can help identify the root cause, which could range from an ingredient sensitivity to something internal.
