It can be taken along with existing medical policy if one has. It is mostly a one time fee covering for 9.5-10 months. However, it is better to understand from the representative of the company you are planning to take the policy from. Make sure you read all the details properly. Personally, I have also taken this policy and feel that looking at the current situation it is required. We all want to stay healthy but if we need it then it will be really helpul.
