I am a pure vegetarian, I don't even touch eggs and mushrooms. All my friends suggest that I should increase my protein intake. What are the foods that are rich in proteins and how much protein is needed for me?

I know it's a real challenge for vegetarians to get the protein from veg food . But trust me there are so many foods in India where u will have a good source of protein. Like Include daal in ur everyday diet . U can have sprouts , besan , sambar in ur diet. Also have soya and it's products. These are really very versatile to add in any dish, easily available in our kitchen as well high source of protein
