Hello Dear, recently I started putting on in kilos, which lead to prediabetic. The doctor checked with my lipid profile and asked me about my food habitats for my sugar check. In lipid profile, good fats are very low in fact they should high and bad fats should be less but they were more. While I was surfing some articles clearly gave an idea that oils are the major culprits of unhealthy food. Even I asked my mom that why we do we need oil in cooking she simply said that the surface of the utensil and the things we are cooking are not the same hence we need oil to cook them well, in addition, they enhance the flavor of the food. Then I listed out and realized that many recipes can be prepared without oil also. I thought they take more time to prepare but I feel they are actually easier than normal recipes. Yes, many of us use non-stick pans which we think are safe and easy to cook but remember they are not safe. Non-stick pans contain Teflon which acts as a catalyst in cooking. Hence we have removed all my non-stick cookware from my kitchen. For zero oil recipes like salads, we use glass containers and for soups, we use steel containers. One of my aunt stay in Kerala she always have affection towards Clay Pots, which are earthenware pots. simply called them as Manchatti. She describes that clay pots are not only 100% eco-friendly but also non-toxic. upon her advice we prepared and I would definitely recommend clay pots for cooking, food would be very tasty.
